I am a permanent researcher at the Centro Brasileiro de Pesquisas Físicas (CBPF), a research unit under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. My research explores quantum spin phenomena in condensed matter through spintronics and magnonics experiments on micro- and nanodevices. Systems of interest include magnetic heterostructures thin films and two-dimensional materials, investigated both for fundamental studies and technological applications.

I carried out postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge, in the group of Prof. Chiara Ciccarelli, focusing on superconducting spintronics, and at the University of Groningen, in the group of Prof. Bart van Wees, developing magnonic nanodevices. I hold a PhD (2018) and an MSc (2014) in Physics from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco, under the supervision of Prof. Antônio Azevedo, and a BSc in Physics from the Universidade Federal de Sergipe (2012).
